Music is an important part of the worship life of MUUS. The Choir leads the congregation in song during the Worship services. The singers rehearse before the service and one evening a month.
The congregation enjoys a variety of musical offerings. Members and friends of the congregation who play instruments frequently share their talents with us. We are looking forward to re-establishing our Family Choir when the children and others are able to join us indoors post COVID.
Over the past year we presented many virtual choir pieces as a joint project with UU church in Meriden. It worked out as a wonderful way to include singers who cannot ordinarily make it to our regular rehearsals, and we will continue to use this as one source of music for our services.
